Sorry, another update about AI...

Hey Reader,

It has been 2 busy months. I didn't see October go by and one update slipped 🙏🏾 !

Building update

Sovrnti my project is well underway. It has two parts. A 12-week accelerator to take tech professionals through their sovereignty decisions.

I'm also building an AI-assisted version that scales and works in real-time.

I'm building the AI agent to learn firsthand—which is why this whole update is about AI. That's literally all I've focused on the past 2 months.

Both launch in January. If you want early access, let me know.

AI: what I learned in the past 2 months

Memory

I standardized on Claude as my main AI tool. And a few weeks ago, I started seeing benefits when memory features started rolling out. It basically searches past conversations to make more tailored answers.

More conversations = more context = more accuracy.

It's not enabled by default. If you haven't turned it on, try it. You'll notice answers get smarter.

This triggered my next project: building Sovrnti's own memory layer (more on that below).

Claude projects / Gemini gems / Perplexity spaces

If you are just prompting with AI but are not using "project / spaces / custom GPT..." you are missing a lot.

I basically have one Claude project for everything: marketing, legal, finance, operations, software architecture, user experience...

The key step is to provide specific instructions and context (files). It takes time upfront, but just once. After, all your answers are much more tailored to you.

Every AI app has its equivalent.

Creating an AI app... without a developer

This is the biggest AI experiment I ran in the past 3 months: building an AI app (an early access version) without a developer.

I am impressed by how far you can go. I am pretty sure what I built can easily support 1000 users. Then have a technical team take it and make it truly production ready.

I used a variety of tools to make it happen. But the overall workflow is this:

  • Create the visual experience: Mobbin (for inspiration) -> Canva (early idea) -> Magic Patterns (AI UX designer)
  • Create the application: Claude code

If you have not tried, you should. I'm now confident I can create an early version of any app I think of.

Next steps

Context is everything with AI. Here's what I'm thinking:

What if you could feed Claude your entire company—your financials, marketing emails, sales calls, internal data—and ask it anything about your business?

That's the project I'm starting. It's a combination of databases, data architecture, and connectors that turn scattered information into one source of truth for AI analysis.

End goal: Ask Claude any question about your business and get a real answer.

It might not work. But I'll learn a ton either way.
